Treble Secures $18M For Voice Simulation Platform

According to TechCrunch, Iceland-based startup Treble has raised $18 million in a Series A funding extension led by Paladin Capital Group, with participation from KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, EIC, and Omega ehf. Founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, the company previously received $12 million in 2024, bringing its total raised capital to over $40 million. Treble provides a simulation platform utilized by voice artificial intelligence model makers, robotics companies, and consumer hardware developers. Its technology generates synthetic data for speech enhancement, noise suppression, and model training, while also evaluating voice models under various conditions. The platform applies accurate physics simulation as an alternative to scraping audio data from the internet, and the startup counts Amazon and Logitech among its customers.

The investment highlights the growing importance of acoustic infrastructure as investors pour capital into voice artificial intelligence, consumer hardware, and smart glasses. As more products rely on sound interaction and speech recognition, startups providing specialized testing environments and simulation tools are positioned to support model training and device prototyping across industries.

Francois Ruether, VP of Paladin Capital Group, stated that Treble's platform stands out and that infrastructure supporting sound understanding will become increasingly valuable across voice artificial intelligence, wearables, robotics, and physical AI.

With fresh capital exceeding $40 million in total funding, Treble aims to scale its acoustic simulation infrastructure to meet the testing and synthetic data demands of next-generation voice applications, wearables, and physical artificial intelligence hardware.
