- Verify your phone number (this is required for security purposes).
Phone Verification
OpenAI requires a valid phone number to prevent abuse. Virtual numbers (like Google Voice) are often not accepted.
When you sign up, you automatically get access to the Free tier. If you need access during peak times, faster response speeds, and priority access to new features like GPT-4, you can upgrade to ChatGPT Plus later.
